I don't know the answer to your first question. I presume that Israel has a lot of intel on Iran (after all, there are plenty of Iranian-born Israelis to draw from for talent), but I'm sure the actual state of the program is well hidden in many places.

As for Sharon, there is no change; he is still in a coma. They just stopped reporting on it every day. They haven't lost hope of his coming out of it, but they are not giving out details.
