BALONEY UPDATE: "Bob" responds in typical fashion, by saying "I'll be happy to respond" and then, after six hundred words, not responding.
Your name, "Bob." Still waiting.
Tell you what: I'll let you post comments as much as you want. All you have to do is give me your real name, and some method of verifying that it is your real name. What do you say, "Bob"? Remember, only a response with your real name will be usable from here on out. What do you say?
UPDATE: "Bob O'Brien" responds with a phony name.
You know, the thing that is remarkable is not that I am wasting my time corresponding with a crackpot who cowers behind a phony name, but that I am corresponding with a crackpot who cowers behind a phony name and heads a national movement of probably about fifty people that has changed the securities laws -- for the worse.
It is a movement that is obviously well-financed, judging from the slick website and the "documentary filmmakers" that you see all around. Who's footing the bill?
We know that this answer isn't going to come from the Baloney Brigade -- only doubletalk from that quarter. As you can see, I can't even get the leader of the pack to give me his name. "Advice of counsel." Yeah, right.

THE BALONEY CONTINUES: "Bob O'Brien," the bravely anonymous leader of the Baloney Brigade, responded to today's DTCC press release with a lengthy, rambling comment that doesn't even attempt to counter anything in the DTCC press release.
As usual, "Bob's" position is that he doesn't have to prove a thing. The rest of the world, the victims of his rants, must come up with "facts" to counter his nutty allegations. He then expresses displeasure that I have not turned over my blog to him to rant at length and goes on to accuses DTCC -- as usual, without substantiation -- of "lying," and slanders an award-winning Dow Jones reporter who has not written articles to his satisfaction.
"Bob," I have a question for you. This you are welcome to post on, and at length. Who are you? Who finances your website? Who finances the Baloney Blitzkrieg?
