That $450M can buy 4% to 5% SUNW outstanding shares at today's price, which can translate to about 5% of share holder's value. First a stock split, and then the (big) stock buyback plan. And it's still two months away from the next quarterly announcement. Obviously the company does not think the stock price is even fair-valued. McNealy and friends must be super bullish about Sun's earnings in the forseeable future.
