Are the stocks in this industry still treated as cyclical?

Yes, I believe they are. That Cary is one issue worthy of discussion here. It applies to both our investment strategies.

When will the next cyclical bottom happen?

Will it happen at all?

Should I stay largely in cash until it does happen or should I be buying stocks on every dip in the belief that this time is different?

As far as the other stuff. It's not worthy of discussion anywhere. No matter what we have made, or lost, money on past performance is no guarantee of future success.

Best of luck with your investments Cary.
