Not sure what the physical spot market actually is on a daily basis. Any info on what the volume of trades in the spot market is would be appreciated. This is not to say that you are not correct in believing that gold deliveries are a lagging indicator. After all before the delivery can be made the gold had to be bought and thus already has impacted the price. And some of the gold delivered is not even being bought but just moved from other forms of holding gold.
