Even on a thread we try to keep more moderate, it's clear how some folks delight in taking one side and cheering as loud as they can while they demonize the other.

If I banned everyone who was relentlessly partisan here, I'm not sure who would be left to get a word in edgewise.

We all know what it's like in fora where they don't even pretend to try to avoid partisanship. Relative progress I suppose.
