I just learned about Millenium last night on a 2-hour PBS genetics program discussing the ethical consequences of genetics. They spent 20 minutes or so interviewing scientists and the business folks at the company. The marketing person they were talking to was watching the stock on the Nasdaq web page at work and excited about the 1.5 point rise that day.

I immediatley came to SI to look it up and of course it was here with plenty of experts! Their goal seems to be to gain partnerships with drug companies for research, when they come up with discoveries how are they going to make money? Do the drug companies pay for the research or does MLNM get a cut of drug profits that they help discover?

After looking at the chart (can't get much insight from the multiples) it seems to be closer to its 52 week low than it usually is. (I just noticed it's up 3/4 today-because of the PBS broadcast perhaps?)
