Whatever happened to having a shred of dignity and resigning in shame over 911 AND the failure to capture OBL and crew?

The current Administration needs the likes of Osama Bin Laden to remain at large; the enemy must have a face.
It becomes more difficult to justify the exorbitant expenses relating to the "war" effort if an enemy can't be readily identified.
Supply and Demand. You must have enough bad guys to justify the zillions of dollars going into the pockets of the numerous defense contractors and other big business players that benefit from a never ending conflict. Follow the money.
