ISLAND Quotes, has just disappeared from view---due to the High Tide of Popularity. Here's the explanation from them:--- "Sorry, but due to popular ignorance, I've discontinued the ISLD free quote web site for now. Pete orginally wrote the program as a favor to let some friends see the book. Somehow word spread and the site has been getting tens of thousands of hits. Some people have been complaining about this free best effort service. It was never ment to be a production system, we don't bother to make sure it's working every day. It's just not worth it to have to deal with all the complaints when all we wanted to do was something nice. Sorry. Maybe some smart webperson out there will build a new Island Quote site and put ads on it to make some money. -josh"...
