"The FBI did not believe we had enough evidence to indict bin Laden at that time, and therefore opposed bringing him to the United States," said Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger, who was deputy national security adviser then.

Under what US law could the US have arrested him. He had a threat against the Saudis, not the US. Also keep in mind that Bush also has ample chances of either striking Zawahiri or capturing Osama. But who is to tell all these leads are genuine and not hoaxes.

Here is an instance of stupidity by the Bushies. After Osama last tape surfaced last week, the Bushies were trying to influence the US public (I am sure they succeeded in the stupid Red States) by asking them why Osama did not release a video tape. And then they themselves proceeded to conclude that he did not do so because he must be very sick. Such thinking could carry itself with folks like you and others who blindly support Bush. But yours truly and many others believe that he did not do so in order to conceal his altered physical identity. This is plain and simple.

If you are asking me who understood the world better: Clinton or Bush, I would say that sure;y it is Clinton who understands the world, its culture, its method of doing business etc. far far better than Bush does.
