don't confuse wood and plastic blend lumber-substitute products (which may or may not use recycled PET, pellets or crumb rubber) with recycled plastic lumber-substitutes. the products you are talking about in your post still have a great percentage of wood cellulose content (usually 50% or more). and companies, like Trex, have been making decking etc from wood/plastic blends for many years. this is NOT the same as 100% recycled content lumber substitute products, like Duralast; which are relatively new entrants.
