that is true but market would still react negatively once miky would say that he was misunderstood. I am beginning to wonder if miky is not getting extra discounts from intel for his regular hints that he might start using amd I think it's quite well understood now that no amounts of discounts on the CPU can move the box if the customer does not want that CPU LINE ITSELF!! After all, in servers, the cost of the cpu is probably not the major determining factor anyway. I believe that when the AMD/Dell deal is officially announced, it will be VERY obvious to all concerned that it's because DELL NEEDS AMD and not the other way around. AMD's stock price would be reflecting that position of AMD at that time already and the Dell deal may not be that consequential (ironic as that sounds!). TG
