Additions to GLD represent genuine investment demand. IMO for every ounce of gold added to GLD there is an once or two (or may be much more) purchased by investors elsewhere. GLD is a visible part of an iceberg. With recent strong performance against USD gold has popped up on many screens. There are many fundamentals currently working in gold's favor plus supply is not growing.
