Bolívia nationalizes two Petrobras refineries. Recently designated president of state-owned Bolívian oil company (YPFB), Jorge Alvarado, announced a plan to statize the refineries. Starting by the two presently managed by Petrobras and 20 gas stations. That comntrasts with: Evo Morales, Bolivia's president-elect, wrapped up an eight-country world tour in Brazil, where he said he would not expropriate the investments in natural gas by Petrobras, the state-owned energy firm. Bolivia's outgoing caretaker president sacked the head of the army, after he admitted selling aging surface-to-air-missiles ahead of the election.
