Come on man, it is just a great company - notwithstannding "do no evil" mantra. That is such a weird mantra - what is evil? * Is building a monopoly and stomping on competition evil? I guess so in google's eyes - reference to microsoft is unmistakable. Geeky start wars type silicon valley nerds. * Is building a monopoly for the betterment of mankind evil? No way - Google would like to be a monopoly in everything they do. The whole goodness here is based on the vacuous slogan such as organizing world's knowledge - that is so silly! * Not cooperating with the feds against child porn - is that evil? No way. There are principles here! Also, it doesn't hurt to hide the potential leak that a sizable portion of google searches are about porn. Hey, it must be the best search engine for that, right? * Cooperating with the chinese on censorship - is that evil? No way. There are principles here. The stupid chinese people can't search on google.com and hence they need google.cn. Also otherwise, they may not find all the good search results lurking at the bottom on normal google searches. Evil is what we want it to be - don't you get it? We are a great company...
