re: Democracy is flowering throughout the ME but why isn't Mr. Bush happy?

Palestine may be just a first step for Hamas. Could it become a dominant political force throughout the ME? Bush took a relatively stable region and shook it up... no telling how or when things will settle.

What Bush is doing is pushing them together. Alliances are not Arabs' strong suit but Bush is changing that. Even Arabs who might agree with the US are getting turned off by Bush's lack of diplomacy. Whether true or not, he gives off the impression that he thinks he is superior to Muslims. So they are banding together and as it becomes more apparent that Bush is a paper tiger, they grow more vocal in their opposition. Nothing good will come of it.
