Mkel,
I am absolutely devastated. I learned a lesson here. You can learn how to analyze a company but you can never learn to analyze the senior management of a company and what they are thinking. Word around the "street" is that the large shareholders of Tescorp at Prudential, Lindner Funds, etc. are just as ticked off as I am. One large shareholder is even threatening to lead a shareholder revolt. He has may vote. Sure, the company is receiving a decent payoff for TODAY'S BUSINESS, but what happens when the company adds a little leverage? After doing a little research, I found out that at least three different firms wanted to lend Tescorp money via a debt deal, for amounts ranging as high up as $100 million. Add in even a quarter of this amount and you'll see the company could have garnered about $5.50 per share with just the news of this debt financing. Anyway, I'm a holder until the end. Perhaps another buyer will enter the picture? Boy......am I an eternal optimist.
