Reliance is under scrutiny by the Indian Govt. for corrupt practices. It was established by then Communication Minister Pramod Mahajan and it is alleged that he had an interest in it by way of being a shareholder etc. during the time of its formation. So I am not up for investing in a company that is under a cloud. However, I agree with you that it is more of a sound decision to invest in companies like Qwest which is in the process of tapping the huge growing markets in India and China.
