Yes, I know. I really felt Al Gore would have been a horrible President, but I remember thinking that I did like two things about Gore. 1) He was smart about energy and the environment and 2) he was really in tune with the needs of the tech industry. Bush is neither and America is the worse for it. I wonder what the world would be like now with Gore as President? I would bet my house he'd have reacted to 9/11 and Muslim terrorism in general with a drive to get off oil dependence. He would have been a hell of a lot more effective than Carter too. I really do think that Clinton is the reason Gore didn't make it.
