Montana is big skies, Ted Turner, David Letterman, the Marlboro Man, Clean air, clean cows, cleaner goats and clean water. No work, no money, no people, .. well you get the idea.
There are plenty of no-mining states in the lower 48. Three cases in point are Wyoming, Wisconsin, and California. Iffen u find a mine there, you will have to rope it, tie it down and haul it to Arizona.
