Well, we are essentially over the downtrend, but I suppose we need 3% or 3 days above to confirm this move. So if you are cautious, wait for confirmation, but if you are a gambling man, consider a buy with some stops, realizing that the MM plays games with this stock (ie. he may rob you on a dip). The company has not been the best miner, but is a good stock as far as risk-reward from my perspective. If the company lives up to promises, then they could be a heck of a company (570K ounces in '07). That remains to be seen, but meanwhile they appear to be far undervalued, IMHO, perhaps suppressed by shorts.
Could be a nice week if gold cooperates. Earnings should definitely beat estimates, coming Feb 2nd. |
