IMO Tom Cruise belongs in the Men Who Look Like Catalogue Models But Can't Act category with the likes of Keanu Reaves. To shine for other than the besotted, they need roles crafted to their limitations, like Cruise's professional ranter in Magnolia or the movie whose name I can't remember where Reaves played an Hindu god, thus not requiring him to emote like a human...
