I can't imagine what Bush will try to peddle as his successes, but the lies that come out of the man's mouth have always beggared imagination.

For my own health, I'm going to skip the speech. My blood pressure can't take it anymore.

Just today, we have the release of the audit showing that much of the money that went for Iraq's rebuilding was squandered. Pardon me for not being surprised. A lot of Bush cronies made a lot of money. It would have been simpler for Congress simply to give them the cash outright and save them the trouble of concocting sham projects on the other side of the globe. Joe Allbaugh could just sat in Texas and had the money deposited directly into his bank account.
