There are no significant democratic ethics scandals. None. And in the past, the democrats with ethics problems like Wright, Rostenkowski and Trafficante were removed in a bipartisan fashion. Wright resigned despite only a $50,000 violation. The current Delay-Bushie violations run into the tens of millions and cost taxpayers tens of billions.

Gingrich came in in 1994, as Bush did in 2000, vowing to be more ethical and honorable. Bush and Delay (taking over for Gingrich) did just the opposite. They threw ethics out the window and turned into major political criminals spending our money on their cronies and unpopular pet projects like there was no tomorrow. Bribery was involved and they're all guilty, many of them in obvious ways which will result in criminal sentences.
