The NRA has only been concerned with the 2nd Ammendment for decades. They've had plenty of chances to challlenge the government regarding 4th Ammendment abuses, that could one day affect gun owners, but never bothered. Their silence on the NSA spying is another indication of their narrow focus, and yes it might come back to bite them as well.
