I agree- but I accept the fact that many men completely lack empathy in this area. They will never know how hard it is to carry a child, how emotional a birth is, and how difficult it is to commit your life to a child. There are a few men raising children on their own, but the vast majority of care for children is given by women- and there's probably a biological reason for this in our species. So I think the hope for change rests with women. I'd be pleasantly surprised if men turned out in droves to support women, but I won't hold my breath.
