You are effectively enforcing savings. In the stock-decay plan there would be no enforced savings. Any worker receiveing a share of the company would be free to dispose of it for immediate income. The portable pension ideas would have an enforced savings element. I don't think that's a bad concept, but it has become quite clear that clever money managers can loot such systems. TP
