In the meantime, ABC's anchor gets nailed by an IED in Iraq almost 3 years after the end of major combat operations and the supposed start of constructing a ME democracy.

How much of a failure do these incompetents have to be in order to lose ALL support from ALL quarters?

Iraq - SS - Medicare - Bankruptcy - 1.1% GDP - 44% increase in national debt - 17% decrease in employment - Katrina - etc. etc. etc.

Instead of the nation holding them to a higher standard because of their power and resources, half the country holds them to a lower standard than the local dog catcher. If Republicans continue to run this country, we're not going to be a has-been, we're going to be the pathetic cripple of the industrialized world.
