I think reserves, and it helps make Wassa work, lowers the costs there and increases the production and life of the mine. Who knows, maybe they will sell off some of the peripheral finds that St Jude has and then the deal looks even better. I think when it gets down to it, either they were going to get them or someone else was, and St Jude was close, so they didn't want to let it slip through their fingers. Had GSS not been shorted to heck, their stock would have gone a lot further as currency, and made the deal less painful. At least they made the deal before gold went up, because it might have cost more if the deal were done today.
