why do you think it is one of the last upside surprises. Come on thats crazy talk. Either you've got a winner or you don't.

I will say though, that (imho) most of the weakness lately is due to the underperformance of yahoo and msn, but when you read the industry tech sites like webmasterworld, ypn and msn really bit the big one this last quarter. One guy claims ypn is actually 1/10 as effective as Google. I am not sure if that is as a result of the new architecture GOOG implemented, or the increased market share from GOOG, or the fact that msn/ypn just sucks. But for whatever reason, reading the tech sites there is no doubt that GOOG took ypn and msn down- and yet the street doesn't seem to believe this, specifically the naysayers like Kessler who think AdCenter is going to revive from the dead and take on GOOG.

It will be interesting if the street can acknowledge that ypn and msn have failed after the goog numbers.

I think this is could be the last quarter where msn and ypn are figured in to the GOOG equation, for sure.
