Some changes I made today:

Added to JNJ as it again approached 12-month low.

Started an exploratory position in UST.

Added to REIT MPW. (Carl Worth pick)

Late, but started an exploratory position in Madharry's EDVMF. (Refer to his thread for company background info.)

Added to several oil positions, e.g. OXY, SM, XTO.

Closed Katrina play RWC. (Followed on Dale Baker thread)

Lost patience and gave up on my few remaining shares of NTBK, and closed position at loss. I maintain my belief that no bank should sell below its stated book value. Ha. - maybe this should be modified to no bank should sell below stated book value for long, but if it does, like NTBK, then good-bye. Another possible view of NTBK, is that maybe it's not the typical bank - it emphasizes its internet operations, and it has a mortgage service business also. In any case, I'd rather redeploy funds than wait for a turnaround in the business/stock. Still might be a value pick for somebody (else) though.

Fwiw, Fri. and continuing today, I have started to reduce just a bit some TEC, in which I have for me, a full position. Just losing my will to hold all shares and wanting to be prudent - mostly the former reason. (TEC was TPE, a below-cash play when I bought it and mentioned it here 12/04.)
