Sonki, Re: " TA - ... just incredible ! where is the top? reply at ur
leaisure.... ".
Sonki, I don't know to honest with you what the top is, and I don't think any body knows. I got out of Intel this AM at 97.3 and moved
all that cash to Vivus.I love Intel and I will revisit it.However
vivus now is a tremendously appealing because of the GIANT short
position, both in % terms as well as in absolute No of shares.
Remember that Vivus was No 1 in Barron's famous short list 5 months ago!!!
I don't know why the shorts haven't covered yet!!!You got to be insane not to.This is why I have speculated that a lot of the short might
have been held " by a large competing Company gg " which has enough
cash to waste, couple of $ 100,000,000 ??? This way they might have
thought if Vivus share price stays down, we can make an offer to buy the company thus we won't have to do our own R&D!!However I feel that
as soon as those losses become significant for that company, ? at
$35 - 40 price range?, 1/2 bill? gg, they will have to cover!!.
I think of course that there are other shorts also in place: people who read Barrons and believe every word it prints.Barons is a great
magazine and I love it, but even Barrons has been wrong; several times too!!
