There is a lot of talk of Syria and Iran providing both money and arms. And then I'm sure there is the underground network, including but not limited to the Saudis (apology if I'm sounding paranoid like Mindmeld).

I'm not at all sure that this isn't leading to a full frontal confrontation, sometime. Do you see either side giving ground?


Over time, I think Hamas will move but not nearly fast enough to calm people's fears. After all, it has just started the process of going from a charitable org/terrorist group to a charitable org./respectable political party. These transformations don't happen overnite.

In my wildest imagination, I do not understand how Bush and company did not see this coming. In five years, they have gained no foreign policy sophistication.
