Saudia Arabia is the country I'm referring to that spawned the 9/11 terrorists. I concur Israel's govt doesn't understand how its escalating provoking approach invokes extremism from Palestinians.

The only cover up that I am aware of between US govt and Israeli govt is the Israeli art students (that were really engineers, that covered many USA metropolitans prior to 9/11) that got deported by the US govt without any media fan fare (Fox posted the story, but then quickly pulled it without comment). We had two of them visit us at our startup. We smiled when they claimed to be art students asking highly technical engineering questions - one can smell an engineer a mile away. Pretending to be an art student in Silicon Valley, when you're really a highly trained engineer, is like going to Paris and pretending to be an engineer when you're really an art student.
I tend to believe Israel knew about 9/11 in advance (they reportedly have superb intelligence) and tried to warn the US govt (there were Israeli agents living nearby one of the terrorists), but the US culture is such that it's not preventive so it tends to ignore warnings. US prefers to take more costly reactive steps.
I can't wait to read about the Israeli art students were really up to (that were really engineers) some day when the Freedom of Information Act enables this info to be released.
While I concur the US govt is unable to disclose certain scandals like the Israeli art students (probably because it would risk public support for Israel at a critical time), I completely disagree with your conclusion that Israelis were the terrorists that took over the planes during 9/11 (as your earlier posts suggests.) Those terrorists were bin Laden's terrorist and their attack had bin Laden's signature style and bin Laden also said they were his terrorists. You cannot dispute they were bin Laden's terrorists - they were not Israel's.
I think the USA is only guilty of ignoring Israel's warning (and for not investing in RND that would get the USA off the oil dependency) and I think Israel govt is guilty of espionage of military companies, certain comm companies reportedly according to warning letters from the US govt, and several judges. I am not certain why the US let's Israel get away with that (esp the judges), unless the US needs oil so much that Israel is needed as a safe place in the ME but for the US to ensure this, Israel govt is allowed to do what it wants, or maybe it's something altogether different like possibly the US govt simply outsources some of its military investigative work to Israel since Israel is reportedly very good at this and maybe that's a way for the US govt to sidestep Congress's laws that prohibits the USA govt to conduct investigative work as thoroughly as what it probably would like to do. It's hard to say which govt is working for which govt here, but US govt and Israeli govt certainly have something strange going on. I wish Al Gore would have been voted as President - I think he would have gotten to the bottom of a few things.
But Gustave you are wrong when you say 9/11 was caused by Israel. bin Laden has claimed responsibility for 9/11 - you cannot argue that. The most you can say is the US military presence in the ME is what provoked bin Laden to orchestrate 9/11. You can also say there's something weird going on with the US govt and Israel's govt, but I don't think it's any deeper mystery than oil.
[ My comments on various countries is written in the context of recent past historical events, thus my comments on these countries could very well not apply in the future. ]
