Of course Big Oil has been manipulating prices. As soon as DEmocrats (and Denny Hastert to be fair) started talking windfall profits taxes a few months ago, the prices suddenly dropped. Like any criminals, they lay low when the heat is on. Bush-Cheney are responsible. Big Oil are their people. And Bush is a huge liar when he claims he can do nothing about gas prices. One phonecall to Exxon's CEO and the price could come down 25-50 cents.
