Never-the-less... if you believe that the government should 'intervene' to 'moderate' the 'excesses' of the business cycle, that is classic Keynesian economics... near polar opposite to 'supply side economics', or 'Austrian School' economics.

And, it is also the BACKBONE of modern Liberal political economy, and a basic tenant of Liberalism....
