<<<Got the money market account set up finally. If you open a bank account with them the bank account number is different than the brokerage one and if you don't have the bank number you can't access your cash in the money market, so make sure you make a note of that number.>>>

Congratulations on getting someone to talk to you. It seems to me that someone had a question re: switching money from the MM fund to the trading cash account. He had to go on margin??
Did you pick up any information re: this?

I called Scottrade and received the following information on their MM fund return; starts at 0.6xx% and goes up very slowly to maybe 3% with $100k. Very similar to E-trade, very low compared to Harris. On the other hand, I was talking to real person after two rings! Other things seemed to be about equal except Scottrade charges for mailing transaction and monthly statements (free on-line retrieval). The pitch was to try Scottrade as it does not charge if you switch brokers.

I still do not have a complete accounting of my Harris accounts although the totals seem in the ball park. Tough to
tell with no transactions from Harris. The buy and sell transactions seem to work fine. Hopefully will be able to download a monthly report shortly.
