I also thought the speech was a flat liner.

It was so bland and uneventful my husband and I started talking about something other than politics during the speech.........he's a Republican and I am Dem so we generally end up with lively discord during bush's speeches that ends with me leaving the room to listen to the speech on a radio.

Those lying eyes on Bush's face were roving. ( little play on words )
