That statistic may be valid in some context or other. Many kids are graduating early, or opting for a GED, etc. So He may have only been looking at the remnant High School seniors in certain high risk sectors of America or something.

When pressed he may say something like ..."What, so you're saying Watts isn't in America any more?" Then he will call you a racist.

Of course his comment was presented as a comment about Americans in general, with the presumption that the context was referring to the outcomes for the entire population of American students.

You take this, along with Kennedy's big speeches about Alito (insinuation that Alito is a closet bigot) and what do you get?

Obviously America needs to, not only have high school graduates, but they need to be globally competitive for America to be on top of its game. Obviously Alito is a highly qualified judge and not a racist.

As long as people, who are portrayed as the face of the Democratic party, conducting themselves as Kennedy and Kerry have in recent times, the Democratic party will continue to disintegrate under their discredited commentary.

The Dems need to clean house in short order. There are some ethical Democratic congressmen who should be getting more air time.
