I don't know if it could be called a failure on our part. I'm not saying that it is. But we've learned from past history not doing anything will eventually come back to bite us in the @ss, and cost us far more in blood and treasure. We cannot ignore Islamo-Fascism anymore than we could ignore Nazism and Japan and its Asian "Co-prosperity Sphere".. Agreed. But how? which is the best way? I'm not saying that we have to do it for them. But most moderates are, by nature, not easily roused unless they feel they have a chance to succeed against the oppression they are subjected to. Hell, it took an event like 9/11 to wake this nation up to what was going on in the region and how it can directly impact us. But we cannot abandon them either. As for education, we educate them everytime they are permitted to travel outside of Iran, talk with family members, or peruse the internet. They can only ask themselves why they are not able to enjoy what everyone else in the world is permitted to do. Hawk
