The Conservatives formed a minority government and don't have enough members to pass anything. They don't have enough votes to get rid of the gun registry, veto gay marriage, improve the military or get us out of Kyoto. If we are lucky they might be able to drop the GST from 7% to 6% but I doubt it.

Basically a minority leader is a sitting and lame duck. It is the worst thing that can happen in a parliamentary democracy.

If the U.S. were not south of Canada right now we would be taken over by Mexico and with our politically correct immigration policies the next government could be Muslim
