SANTA ANA, Calif., Feb 01, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Tropical Beverage Inc. (Pink Sheets:TPBV), a producer and distributor of value-added water-based products, today announced that it has received this year's first set of orders for a product that it produces exclusively for one of the country's largest retailers. In addition to being larger then expected, the company was happy to find out that the retailer has committed to promoting the brand each and every month of the year. Along with the extensive promotion campaign, Tropical shall be adding more flavors to the line to keep the brand fresh.
"This solidifies our position as we shore up the company's bottom line with a series of good paying steady customers. The forecast is usually very conservative from this customer, and it is already over double what we did last year," said Chris Lotito, CFO for Tropical.
