Boy, the impression I am getting of the people of Louisianna is that they expect us to come down and wipe their asses for them. First off, MOST of the damage is the DIRECT RESULT of inept government at state and local level and the rest is mostly due to FRAUD of every kind before, during and after the storm. To me, a tired Floridian who has been through something like 7 hurricanes in past couple of years, 85 BILLION seems like a heck of a lot of money. All we ever got was a bunch of leaky tents and blue tarps. But, we survived and are now EXCELLING in contruction activity. We have the LOWEST unemployment rate IN HISTORY and a HUGE NEED for every kind of tradesmen with incredible salaries being paid. jdn
