Similarly in the gym I go to in NC... there was a active marine in my STRETCH CLASS9 (for elders ). I never talk politics in the mountains as the Baptists control the area and they are for Bush from the pulpit. However, one day I talked to Len and said something about the upcoming elections. He said, well I just hope Bush doesn't win. I said, you're in the military and not for Bush. His response.. I hate the guy. He has created another Viet Nam where I fought and by damn he should have been there and maybe he would have been more careful about going into Iraq over a lie... We high fived..
