We are living in a government for which we are responsible. Ignorance of the laws is, I believe, no excuse. I'm perfectly happy tipping at 15% +, so I'm ok with the social contract, as it stands. Those who are not ok with it, should probably try to change it- but until it is changed, they have no business ripping off food servers because they don't like the government, or because they are ignorant of the tax laws.
