Leonis said the only reason AOL got into the online network infrastructure business with ANS "was because we were growing faster than the Sprints and the AT&Ts would build for us."

"But merging it into WorldCom we get ANS and all of their talent, plus
Uunet and all of the things that WorldCom will provide."

-- Question Ted (and employee Sam). Why should WCOM prove more responsive than Sprint and GTE/BBN, which currently provide 70% of AOLnet capacity?

And note folks, no where does Ted talk about margin improvement as
reason for ANS.
