neither was directed at its central point. I'm not sure what the central point was to be honest. It seemed to just be trying to say that the Robber Barons were misunderstood. I do think it is useful in a capitalist society for some people to wind up with a great deal of capital to spend without a great fear of consequences. That role can be undertaken by someone so immensly wealthy that they can spend what would be a lifetime of wealth for an average person on a whim. It can also be undertaken by a lottery winner, or celebrity. TP
