My thoughts on Vivus momentum: Previous solid resistance at 31-32 was penetrated, feeding off the Vinik news-a fine place to expect some stop-losses of the big short-interest to come into play. What a beautiful plot could unfold! Possible positive influence: 1) Hey you Brits...wake up from your long summer naps and kick the ante! 2) 20-20 would be nice, coming as it would while the stock is already attracting new attention and after option expiration pressure is out of the way. 3) But the real story is still earnings-now only three weeks away!
