I just received the latest issue of The New York Review of Books. It has the best article I've read yet on the warrantless surveillance issues, what actually took place, and why much is at stake. It's a review of James Risen's book done by Thomas Powers who knows more about where the bodies are buried in the American intelligence community than anyone else alive. At least who manages to write publicly about it. However, the issue is not online yet. Once it's up, I'll post. Not to be missed. If you care about these matters.
