well, that tactic forced plo not just to recognize Israel right to exist but to exist under 1967 borders. In spite of constant hostilities from all of it's neighbors Israels tactics allowed Israel to create successful economy and democracy. Israel has a 'successful' economy and democracy because we fund that 'successful' economy and democracy to the tune of $6 billion per year.
